Suggestions of What to Pack In Your Hospital Bag

Do you have a favorite pillow, blanket, etc.?  Things such as these would be nice if you have to stay awhile.  It is not meant to be an exhaustive list, but one to help with ideas.

Most hospital supply closets do not have the same ostomy supplies you use at home.  If you can get your ostomy nurse to stock you up while you are there, that is good, but make sure you have what you need for those times when you don’t have access to get more of something (nurse’s weekend, etc).

Menus to places that will deliver your favorite foods to the hospital if you end up staying for awhile…

If you take meds from a compounding pharmacy, take them and paperwork from that pharmacy explaining the drug.
